AUGUST 2009 — FHI/Rwanda supports Rwandan institutions that implement clinical care in HIV and reproductive health, community-based initiatives in disease prevention and health promotion, and research to inform evidence-based health programming. FHI/Rwanda works by making financial resources available to Rwandan institutions and deploying technical and management expertise to build and strengthen their capacities. This report summarizes the contributions FHI/Rwanda made to Rwanda's health sector during the 2008 calendar year.
