YouthNet provides both short-term technical assistance and large-scale, multi-year assistance in selected countries. This assistance, which ranges from assessing a country's current work with youth reproductive health and HIV prevention tactics to establishing adolescent health programs in conjunction with faith-based and community leaders, follows a request from the USAID country mission and is done in collaboration with the USAID mission, the appropriate government agency, and local nongovernmental agencies.
